  • What's Gostown Paradise ?
    It's a modification for the Game Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas
  • Which games do I need to run this modification ?
    You need Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas, version 1.0, or a downgraded 2.0.
Counting from version 0.066 RC3, you don't need to use Map Cleaner ANYMORE !

  • The game is crashing in the middle of the loading bar when starting a new game ?
    You will have to delete the '/models/gta_int.img' file to get it work.

  • The game wont start, and return a missing .dll message ?
    Just make sure you have the latest redist of directX, install them.
  • When will the mod be finished ?
    When it's done.We're currently modeling the city, which takes long time.
  • Which specs do I need to run the mod smoothly ?
    The recommended specifications for this mod are the same as the original game. We just work in a proper way than Rockstar games, which explains the quality versus performance equality.
  • Why is Gostown version 5's size bigger than Gostown version 6 ?
    Because we used to include multiple mods in one at the time. There was VCSA and MTARv packaged in the same installer. Now, for legal reasons, we removed them.
  • Can I betatest the mod ?
    We recruit betatesters ourselves.
  • Where can I get the latest version ?
    Here if you're a player, and here if you're a developer.
  • Can I report bugs ?
    No, that's useless. Our dev team is active and find bugs regularly way faster than players. We're aware of mostly everything in the mod.
  • Can I use 3D models and textures from this mod ?
    It's written in our EULA. In other words, you don't have permissions to edit models neither use them. You don't have permissions to use our texture dictionnaries (.TXD).
  • WTF, the city is empty, is it normal ?
    City isn't finished in our latest public version.
  • Can I open/reverse enginering the .scm/.dll files ?
    No you can't, that's written in the EULA. (Excepted Rockstar games scm files on which we don't own rights)
  • Are there any missions ?
    Not yet in the public version, but there's a storyline for the ending product.
  • Does this mod works with Vista ?
    Yes
